My series Cloaks and Robes studies human forms draped in a variety of attire. This attire or costume elevates them above the common person. A judge, an angel, a geisha, a healer, royals, a graduate are all robed subjects to be explored. The movement and pattern of the fabrics are abstract studies in and of themselves. It is fascinating to me that diverse ethnicities engage in this tradition of robes representing status as well as fictional and mythical figures.
